An unusual tendency of humans. Or aliens.
MiB 1, 2, 3; War of the worlds, Mars needs Moms, Battleship, The day earth stood still, Transformers, and more and more and more.
There are two things common in this:

- Aliens
- What this very post is about
Now, if you see. In all these 7 movies I have mentioned, you can quite easily find out from the CD cover, that definitely, this time, taxis and police cars will fly, snipers and sharpshooters will be found, again caught and put into an invisible 'plasma' cage, air force planes will be smashed to smithereens by these Burj Khalifa sized, mutated, half metal monsters.
Again, you might observe, why in the world don't UFOs go crashing by? Why don't we see these flying alien hovercrafts getting beaten up? Why can't our directors not even go this way?
Sometimes, we just feel small and insecure after all these movies, but have we, after all think, if we were the big guys, the building crushing nightmares, the one who sees beyond the horizon?
What if scientists suddenly discover a large solar systems full of really small, puny and undetectable intelligent organisms, who really go mad at the mere sight of us!
We still don't know what's happening around us, not even in our house. Alien civilisations could be millions of years ahead of our time, they would find these high-tech iPhones as a museum artefact, built maybe billions of years ago, in their time.
They may have technology to be undetectable to human tech and receivers, and our gigantic radio receivers wouldn't find even a fraction of what may really be prevailing, outside our atmosphere.
Sometimes, I still feel like I hardly know a bit about our 'Mr. ET' and his family.
Why don't we see aliens? Why is it these so-called UFO sightings are later discovered, either as a very big joke or a huge mistake, of something which looks more than obvious when closer?
Why don't we see alien satellites, with Pioneer plates, showing the position of their planet, and how their beings look?
It's funny, how these aliens have very successfully hidden from us for 12,000 years...

Aliens is indeed still an alien topic... :-(
ReplyDeleteWe have so many star gazers eying the sky for various astro objects and apparently none have discovered or tracked a UFO
