How people's expectations never stayed the same

There was a time, when going faster than 30km/h for at least 15 minutes was inhuman. Then the wheel was invented. Then going faster than 40km/h horseback for more than 30 minutes was inhuman. Then came the train, it was fast, inefficient yet could go for really long distances, carrying at least 3 engineers, each engine. Then came the car, going only a little faster than 13km/h, for a long time, with 1 engineer tagging along, then came demand, and cars got faster, and faster, and faster. It just kept going on, until someone thought of going up in the air. Then came the age of flying things, it was called as an 'aeroplane'. At first, it was a very uncommon sight, and the ones who could fly it were very lucky.

Technology went ahead, wars came and went by, and the art of flying was mastered. The super-rich had private planes, news and the police had helicopters, and yet, it still wasn't enough.

Then came super-sonic planes, and it went as soon as it came.

Scientists got in to the soup and started thinking beyond our small Earth, space... that also, came and made a revolution, and a 'rocket' was invented.

Now, finally, people begun to think, they were getting innovative... Cars are invented, planes are invented, super-sonic planes were invented, and people would go heights to make something awesome.

They begun to mix, they brought electric cars, efficient jet engines, planes for the commoners, and finally a flying car!

This was hard, because most innovators knew big planes and small cars, and bringing both together wasn't a really great idea, but people thought, and thought and thought, and invented!

In the news, you might have heard of the Czech flying car company, Aeromobil, who has finally, successfully made the all new flying cars!

This has raised many questions...
Is it going to be efficient? Yes, and I think so, really. I think that this flying car will begin another, new, huge revolution, and I think, that they'd be another page in our history books. So what's special about this car? This car, first of all can FLY, and second, it IS legal all over Europe, it has propellers which don't produce too much heat, and takes of at 81 knots (150 km/h).

But after all, no invention is perfect, so:-

Pros
  • It has an efficient engine, which can produce as much as power as a Cessna
  • It can go for a long, long distance
  • It has a nice, two seater cockpit with a glass canopy
  • It can go like any other car
Cons

  • The danger proposed to fellow drivers is unmeasurable, because a small mistake could cause a catastrophe in the middle of the road.
  • Propeller engines? Not a good idea, because, by any chance, a unknowing driver or biker may come too close, or a damaged propeller could cause problems, and that's not a good idea.
  • Is THIS the time to invent this? Are humans ready for an invention like this? Or is it just a very good way to cause large problems, illegal transport, and all kinds of problematic situations.
  • Prone to misuse
The cons may appear longer and more justified, yet this invention is just the one we need, and this, is going to be a mad trend for everyone in the future.

Is it's price going to be all right? Will the price fit into our small car catalogue tables? Will it's fuel eat our pockets off?

We'll soon find out, and stay tuned for more updates!
