When the Sun comes to the Earth

Hello Everyone!
Today, there was this VERY, VERY impressive news.
There is going to be a solar storm which our Sun is going to erupt, which is come all the way to the Earth, but luckily not so deep, so your radios don't go bad!
It has been several years since our Earth has had a solar storm of this size coming from sunspots smack in the middle of the Sun, according to Tom Berger, the director of the Space Weather Prediction Centre in Boulder, Colorado. The power grid may experience slight fluctuations  due to the change in the Earth's Magnetic Field, and luckily, it's worst effects are just going to skim past the Earth, so luckily, this time, the so-called solar activity is not going to become a 2012 effect!
The storm is moving moderately fast, at about 4.02 million km/per hour (2.5 million mph), and it's going to arrive on early Friday...
Stranger than Fiction!

  1. The solar storm comes and wipes away stuff like a tornado!
  2. It's raining hydrogen!
  3. The solar flare cools down and together, it's contents (hydrogen) evolve and become new elements!
So here's a common mistake which people commit, it's that, solar storm is not a storm but it's just that it's a bunch of accelerated charged particles, mainly electrons.

On the Sun, magnetic  reconnection may happen on solar arcades - a series of closely occurring loops of magnetic lines of force. These lines of force quickly reconnect into a low arcade of loops, leaving a helix of magnetic field unconnected to the rest of the arcade. The sudden release of energy in this reconnection is the origin of the particle acceleration. the unconnected magnetic helical field and the material that it contains may violently expand outwards forming a coronal mass ejection. This also explains why solar flares typically erupt from the 'active' regions on the Sun where magnetic fields are much stronger on average.

Although there is a general agreement on the flares' causes, the details are still not well known. It is not clear how the magnetic energy is transformed into the particle kinetic energy, nor is it known how the particles are accelerated to energies as high as 10 MeV (!) (mega electron volt) and beyond. There are some inconsistencies regarding the total number of accelerated particles, which sometimes seems to be greater than the total number in the coronal loop. Scientists are unable to forecast flares, even to this day.
So here's a demonstration by NASA on a Solar Blast, like what's going to happen soon...
And one on the 'Evolution of Magnetism on the Sun'
It's about the effects and measure of solar flares... This one's interesting!

And this one is about an X-class solar flare, like what was explained on the video above...

And here is, according to NASA, the best observed Solar Flare Solar Flare...
Wow, isn't it...
Solar Flares seem to be a beautiful yet unknown phenomenon, which makes even more beautiful phenomenons like Aurora Borealis, and stopping connections which finally brings people out of their hides of phones and other gadgets... Not that I don't want you to read this though!
